Lee Esther Davis was the second oldest daugther of John and Anna's 14th children. Lee Esther was born June 8, 1915 in Madison County. Lee Esther married Lester Davis (not related) in 1931. To this union 4 children was born:
1. Nita Marie Davis -born September 7, 1932
2. Robert Glen Davis- born August 28, 1934
3. Helen Louise Davis -born December 9, 1936
4. Gladys Davis born January 9, 1939
Lester had two daugthers from a previous relationship
Lee Esther later married Henry Schaffer Cotton in April 1939 to this union two children were born. Lee Esther and Schaffer met through Lee Esther two brother ALZ and John Davis Jr.
Lee Esther and schaffer moved to Navosota were schaffer daugther Rexie Dee was born.
Schaffer & Lee Esther daugther Rexie Cotton met and married Bobby Stewart.
Bobby Stewart was the oldest child of R.T Stewart and Ernestine McCarthy. To this union a son was born-Larry Gene Stewart in may 8th 1955.
Bobby and Rexie later seperated and divoced in late 1955-Rexie returned to madisonville to live with her parents Lee Esther and Schaffer.
Rexie later left madisonville to come houston texas to stay with her older sister Nita Marie. Larry (AKA-Bobby) was left with his grandparents in Madisonville until he graduate High School in May 1973.
Larry (AKA) Bobby move to houston to attend Texas Southern University where he worked in the Register Office processing transcripts he was later promoted to work directly with Register Mr Westberry. After leaving Texas Souther. Larry started working for US Post Service as Temporay Mail Handler from their he started working for Chamberlain& Hrdlicka law firm where he remained at postion until 1989.
In 1983 Larry met and married Althea Gail Loud. Who was the daughter of Alton and Myrtle Jackson. To this union 1 son was born Brett Stewart 1987.
In 1989 Larry started working for Chas P Young Management service. In 1992 Larry started working Crain, Caton & James he worked their until he got job with Xerox Business Service and relocated Arlington VA. He work arlington for 5 years and then trasnsferred to Birmingham Alabama with Xerox.
Larry remain Birmingham for 6 years until he laid off he later returned back to Houston to work for Chamberlain & Hrdlaicka.
While in Houston Rexie met George Hopkins. To this union another son was born Johnny Wayne Hopkins-Cotton (AKA Ricky). After birth Johnny also join Larry in Madisonville to live with Rexie's parents. Johnny remained in Madisonville until he graduate.
Later met and Married Heny Boone to union 3 children were born:

2. Rexie D Cotton born October 20, 1940
Lee Esther's husband Schaffer had a son from a previous marriage- Genorse Cotton.
Lee estherDavis Cotton died August 25, 1983 in Houston Texas.
Lee Esther third daughter Helen Louise Davis married Chester Franklin in 1953. Chester was son Ernest and Mattie Rigsby. Mattie wass from Bedias Texas.
